If you are a self-made multimillionaire who wants to entertain your mates in style, why not build a lads playroom in your castle?
This Israeli dream home includes an entertainment area consisting of a pool table, salt water aquarium, bar area and two relaxation areas to sit in and enjoy the company of family and friends. For more serious exercise there is also a gym area overlooking the outdoor swimming pool.
The custom designed and manufactured feature ceiling was a focal point of the room design. The requirement was to enhance the experience through special LED light panels which can create appropriate mood lighting in a range of colours and intensities. With the design complete there was one problem remaining; how to provide music, controllable in different zones, throughout the area without any visible sign of the source to intrude on the visual experience.
For the size of the room, the ceiling was proportionately low which would have required a high number of unsightly conventional speakers to provide even sound coverage. The solution was to use 14 Amina AIW1X 20W Invisible Loudspeakers to provide high quality, even, room filling sound throughout. The core element of an Amina Invisible Loudspeaker comprise a lightweight, yet strong, composite panel which vibrates, analogous to an acoustic guitar. These vibrations, invisible to the human eye, create a diffuse source of sound energy which is capable of filling a space far more evenly with sound, this is the downside with conventional loudspeakers.
The Amina Invisible Loudspeakers are designed to be installed in solid or cavity walls or ceilings with the front of the flat panel flush with the surface prior to a final skim of plaster being applied. Once the wall or ceiling is finished with this final skim of plaster, the rooms can be decorated as normal ensuring a totally invisible audio solution.
The end result? A delighted customer “My guests are amazed and delighted with the whole area. Everyone asks where the music is coming from and are completely amazed by the quality and the technology”
